In the story, Shirley is finally asked to play a game of ball with the other children. Write how you think Shirley feels during the game. Include details and examples from the text.
I think two things 1 she might be a little shy to be play ball with children from a different background and she might be a little hesitant like in the chapter2 in the train station she was commenting how all the people were dressed differently .and 2 she might be happy that she finaly made friends with children in america and I think that has given her comfort in america.
I think she's proud of herself because every ones saying "good eye". I also think she will become good friends wirh maple cause she was helping her play the game.
