We normally connect text features with non-fiction books, but fiction books can be made better by them sometimes as well.  Think about your lit. circle book.  What text feature would you add to it to make it easier to follow or understand?  Where would you put it in the book?  Why did you choose that feature?  You will be creating a model of this text feature as your final individual assignment for your lit. circle book.

  1. because this story takes place at so many locations I would add a map to the book so people can follow along to where they are ,and I would add it in the front of the book

  2. i think they should put little labels by the pictures.
And the story's plot is all over the place so they should add a map.
And they should put in parentheses what the chinese words means.

  3. i would do a map because then you can see were she is moving from and were she is moving to and then it will help you visualse how fare away she is actually moving and were she is living now,or how small or big the house is because they talked about how small it is compared to there home in china

  4. i would add a real picture of jackie robinson in the book so you know what the person looks like and know he was a real person otherwise you would think that he was a fictional person but he is not he is real! thats why they should add a photo of him. Kaylee
